John Kolm-Murray is the Retrofit of Buildings Policy Manager at the Greater London Authority, with extensive experience at the intersection of domestic energy efficiency, public health, and social policy. He is a passionate advocate for environmental justice and climate resilience, with a strong track record of delivering nationally and internationally recognised programmes. John is the founder of the Seasonal Health Interventions Network (SHINE), which was acknowledged by both the European Commission and OECD, and in 2017 he secured private sector investment to expand SHINE across all of Greater London. He has also played an influential role in shaping fuel poverty policy at both local and national levels and has collaborated widely with academic partners on environmental epidemiology and building design to mitigate the effects of extreme temperatures.
